New NEA Spokesman on Homeschooling Issues

This is truly priceless. David the Custodian offers his take on whether parents are qualified to educate their own children outside of a school setting. He laughingly tries to pass off any teaching attempt by an uncredentialed parent as just a huge joke. I mean, who could seriously think that homeschooled kids would turn out to be well-adjusted, productive individuals? Ha ha ha! Those silly, well-intentioned parents!

At least our friendly neighborhood custodian has a place to polish his op-ed skills. The NEA could do with more credentialed spokesmen like him. They certainly require a good thorough housecleaning--of ideas. However, I don't think it's going to happen in this instance.

Another Objectivist homeschooling mom blogs about a letter written to our Custodian-Turned-Mouthpiece-For-The-Status-Quo, and his sincere response. Sarcasm, he hardly knew ye.

Her new definition for the NEA?

"Not Educating Anyone"
