Bloody Brilliant

Edward Cline of The Center for the Advancement of Capitalism has written a beautiful piece concerning the increasingly common notion that the United States was founded on Christian principles.

This idea is unfortunately becoming more prevalent these days and will only become more so as the 2008 election draws near, because it's clear that NONE of the candidates are willing even to examine the veracity of this claim.

Read the entire piece--it's longish, but worth it.
