Mommy. Homeschooler. Objectivist. Occasionally Amusing.
I write about parenting, homeschooling, philosophy, politics, food allergies, and whatever else I happen to think about. In short, this blog is about ME. :o)
I'm the kind of Mommy who let her kids play with eggs broken on the floor, and shaving cream dyed with food coloring. From the latter we ended up with tie-dyed hands! :)
Boy, do I have a picture for you. My son at age three wanted to be an alligator and one night after being put in bed spent an hour drawing little green scales on his arm. What did we do? Laughed took his picture and allowed him to be green til the next morning when it became evident that washable marker is no longer washable after 12 hours.
Where are the photos??? You're teasing us.
Excellent! I knew I wasn't the only one! I think we'll have to try the shaving cream trick--they'd love it. And purplemommy--you're right that washable marker isn't entirely washable after a while. But that's okay, she really enjoyed having a multi-colored belly.I did take pictures and one of these days I WILL update my picture blog!
