Mommy. Homeschooler. Objectivist. Occasionally Amusing.
I write about parenting, homeschooling, philosophy, politics, food allergies, and whatever else I happen to think about. In short, this blog is about ME. :o)
Not much better. Score: 26248Rank: 49552 / 209149This was fun, though. And I wouldn't worry too much about your geography knowledge. I'd say that knowing random Estonian or Polish cities isn't that important in life.
I figured you'd beat me. :o)And you're right--for the most part, it's random trivia, unless I ever make it on to Jeopardy!
I tried it again, and gotScore: 27572Rank: 31497 / 209389Of course this is largely based on the fact that it happened to pick cities I knew, and I didn't have to randomly guess. The people that get near-perfect scores (i.e. ~30,000) must sit and practice and practice. Eventually you learn where the random Latvian cities are.
I did it again shortly after the first time and scored slightly worse (don't remember the score, maybe 24000ish). Evidently, I need to learn more about the Scandinavian countries. Bucharest threw me off because I had Rumania further north than it actually is.Fun to play, though, yes? There's another geography quiz out there that is fun, too. I think I found it on Scott Powell's blog. If I find the link, I'll post it. This one was the entire world, more challenging.
Err..I mean 22000ish, I think.
