Word Of The Day

Sklorks.

As in this headline from CNN: Man sklorks down 420 oysters in 10 mins.

Also, may I say after listening to this story, just how badly I do NOT want oysters, um, ever?

Hmmm...Brendan and I are going out to dinner tonight. I wonder if we can find anything yummy to sklork down?

Oysters... ick! I can't even stand the sight of them... but sklorking them... that's just sick and wrong.
I have texture issues though... so anything squishy or glibbery will turn my stomach.

*Must think chocolate now.

Thank you for your lovely compliment by the way. I'm truly flattered.

When did "snarf down" cease to be good enough? :)

Oysters. Yeah, yuck. I have a very high tolerance in terms of gross food. I have tried a lot of things, including frog stomach, etc. But oysters ARE gross. I have never tried brains but I refuse to eat them, too.

Hope you guys have a nice dinner out!

My thing with oysters is mostly the flavor, partly the texture. My hubby has a texture thing--won't eat anything that squooshes or gooshes (even chocolate!). And see--Monica eats all kinds of gross stuff and even SHE won't eat oysters!!! (Btw--frog stomach?!?!?)

But SKLORK!

I agree that snarf is a perfectly acceptable verb. There is a humor factor about sklork that makes me giggle though. :o)
