A Funny, And Some Carnivals

Natalie of The Homeschool Cafe (which is hosting this week's Carnival of Homeschooling) has come up with a new homeschool anthem, to the tune of "I Will Survive." I giggled. I giggled very much.

Speaking of carnivals, your Objectivist Round Up can be found this week at The Rule of Reason. Titanic Deck Chairs will host next week.

And the Living with Food Allergies Carnival is up at Casein Point (I do love the name of that blog). Your host in 2 weeks will be No Whey, Mama (again with the clever name)!

How are things? We're fine--hope to write some later and I'm working on more pictures for the FamBlog. Sean, at the tender age of 6 weeks and 6 days, is now enormous. He is wearing 3-6 month and 6 month clothing already and he weighs just under 14 pounds. No seriously! Ryan grew that quickly, too. Nicknames include: Grunt ('cause that's the noise he makes, mostly), Chubby Bubby, Chunky Monkey, and Da Beh-Beh (gotta say that in a low, slow voice, as one would imagine someone like Arnie or Refrigerator Perry might pronounce it, to emphasize Sean's overall giganticness).

Must go now--Brendan has Wendy's (nothing like feeding the family a healthy lunch!)--and the kid's meals have audio CDs of one of the Magic Tree House books. Didja know? We're pumped.

They have CDs of the Magic Treehouse? Wow!!! I have not been to Wendy's in ages. But now I might have to go... :)

Yes! They have 4 different stories on Audio CDs, read by the author. We have recently discovered this series and Ryan really enjoys it.

Definitely worth getting the kid's meal. Usually when we go, we don't buy the kid's meals, so this is an extra big treat for the little ones.
