It's Not Galt's Speech, But . . .

Here's a video from last night's Tea Party with my speech. My bit starts about 1:12 in, after two other speakers. Didn't know they'd put in background music, too.

You can't see the image, but you can hear it pretty well. Nice response from the crowd, too, I thought.

About 16,000 or so saw this! I'm going to stop now before I dwell on that number for too long.

Woo hoo! Great job! I wish I could see the screen, but I loved the speech and you delivered it with passion. The crowd's reactions when you said "Ayn Rand," and at the end were awesome. You should be proud!

You go girl! Wish I could have seen the screen. What a great idea. Kudos to the organizers and to you for speaking out.

BTW--loved your signs too.

Yay Jenn! I think that was really well written and delivered. Like Amy, I was excited by how happy people were to hear Ayn Rand's name.

That was awesome!

I was so impressed at the clarity of your statement, and I was excited by the crowd's reaction.

Can you post a transcript of your statement? I would love to link to that.

Wow. That was amazing. I'm actually tearing up.

Damn. It's a shame in the butt that I wasn't there. Hopefully the actual video of you will make up on YouTube sometime.

Good job. Who the hell would have thought, over 15 years ago at Purdue, as we talked and debated into the wee hours about philosophy and everything else, that you'd be speaking to thousands upon thousands of people about these crucial ideas.

Damn! Wonderful.

Wow, that was a really great speech. Very nice to hear your voice again. It sounds a little different than I remember - like you're a grown-up now or something. =)

Wonderful speech! You hit all the right points. I wish I could have participated in a bigger, more organized tea party like this. Hopefully there will be more to come... Maybe even on CA college campuses! :)
