A Funny and a Link

At dinner tonight, Morgan piped up with:

"Delicious and Yum and Grum Punch all mean the same thing."

Me: "Delicious and Yum and What?"

She: "Grum Punch."

Me: "Grum Punch?"

She: "Yup."

Scrumptious.

Also, my Garage Sale post was included in the Homeschool Showcase blog carnival hosted by Weird, Unsocialized Homeschoolers! (Love the name of that blog!) Thanks, Kris!

Too cute! I wonder if she got that idea at all from the scene in Mary Poppins in which Mary tastes her cough medicine and says "mmm, rum punch." Or maybe it's just her unique pronunciation. :)

You're welcome! I need to post about what my youngest said tonight. I keep 'em around for the comic relief. ;-)

Mona, that's it! She has been watching Mary Poppins quite a bit lately. And Mary does make yummy noises while taking her medicine! I also think Morgan thinks Grum Punch (rum punch) is the same word as "scrumptious" though. Isn't it funny how things like that get into their heads? :o)

Looking forward to your story, Kris! While my job is harder in many ways than the jobs I had before I became a Mommy, I certainly do get to laugh more often.

That's funny! Love it. When my 8 y.o. was very little, maybe 3, he used to say "devanish"--it means disappear or vanish! Love kids!
