Mommy. Homeschooler. Objectivist. Occasionally Amusing.
I write about parenting, homeschooling, philosophy, politics, food allergies, and whatever else I happen to think about. In short, this blog is about ME. :o)
Meet Me in St. Louis is one of our favorites! Victoria tells me they had to change some of the words to this song because the little girl would really cry during the filming. It makes me cry just the way it is! Have yourself a merry little Christmas, too.
This is one of my all-time favorite movies. Haven't introduced to the kids yet, because I know they would be freaked out at the Halloween scene, and be so, so, sad at Margaret O'Brien (I think that's her name). But who wouldn't enjoy such classics as "The Trolley Song" and "I was Hmmmm Last Night, Dear Mother...."Soon. Very soon. And this scene is so well-done and poignant. Sigh. Just . . . sigh.
Margaret O'Brien is the little girl, I mean. They'd be sad when she's sad....Off for more coffee now...
